Trees for St. Croix Project
“We’ve grown more than 6000 Trees! – Inspiring our community to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees.”
Trees provide the very necessities of life itself. They clean our air, protect our drinking water, create healthy communities, and feed the human soul. But these life necessities are threatened in the US Virgin Islands and around the globe.
To address this, in 2019 we’ve launched an unprecedented undertaking – the Trees for St. Croix Project. Together, we can create change … through trees.
Our Free Tree program has now ended. Free tree orders were available for pick-up BY APPOINTMENT ONLY from April 1 through Sept. 1. We are no longer distributing free trees.
Due to COVID19 pandemic our distribution was challenging, we required all participants to schedule online appointments 15 minutes apart. Arrive on time, wear face masks and adhere to the VI social distancing protocols.
We have begun a new initiative to market and ship plants to St. Thomas and St. John through a partnership with Island Green Living Association. All orders must be pre-paid online.
